/ About the project
Breakr sought a refreshed identity that embodied the fusion of music and technology. The goal was to develop a logo that resonated with both labels and creators. The design process began with deep dives into waveforms, sound frequencies, and the visual language of both music and tech. Early sketches explored different ways to illustrate movement and rhythm, but many felt too literal or too abstract. The breakthrough came when experimenting with distortion effects, applying subtle shifts to a bold “b” to mimic the organic ripple of sound. The updated identity, with its striking logo and cohesive typography, has elevated the brand perception, driving increased engagement and positioning Breakr as an innovative leader in direct-to-creator relationships.
